Paradise Kiss movie full trailer
They have finally released the full trailer for the movie adaption of the manga/anime Paradise Kiss.
It's due out in Japan in My but so far no word on the subtitled version. It looks really good even if the crazy hair colours have been forgotton. I was also very delighted to see who was playing Hiroyuki Tokumori. Yusuke Yamamoto also appeared in a tv drama version of the manga Hina Kimi. I loved him in thay and I fan squeeled when I saw him in the trailer for Paradise Kiss.
Have any of you read or watched Paradise Kiss? The anime is quite good and funny. I liked the anime and the manga but the anime appealed to me more as it more colourful and longer. The manga at the moment can be quite expensive but I'm hoping when the movie comes out it will help drop down the price.
Igarashi Shunji (D-BOYS) will play the role of Isabella (actual birth name, ‘Yamamoto Daisuke’). ‘Isabella’ is a transgendered character who identifies herself as a woman by dressing and acting like one. To prepare for the role, Shunji lost 8 kg., removed his facial hair through laser procedures, and learned how to act like a lady (as Isabella is very well-mannered, feminine person). Shunji revealed that he uses three false eyelashes on each eye. He also confessed, “I learned how hard it is to live as a woman through make-up and stuff, and to be honest, I almost got into it (to disguise in woman’s clothes).” ”Paradise Kiss” will also star Ohmasa Aya as ‘Sakurada Miwako‘ and Kaku Kento as ‘Nagase Arashi.

What am I reading now?
Every now and then I plan to update you about my reading adventures. I also want to start my own book club and if you want to join let me know as I'm starting an online one on facebook. I'll post the link here soon :P
Recently I finished a few books:
- Kamikaze Girls
- City of fallen angels
Well just two for the moment.
Kamikaze Girls, also known as Shimotsuma Monogatari is a book by Novala Takemoto.
It's a story about Momoko, a Sweet (yes Neo and other anime magazines, not gothic) lolita who befriends a yanki. I know theres a lot more to it than that but for the moment that's all I shall say. It's a very good book, a bit different than the movie adaption, but still very good. I would recommend it even to someone who had no idea what Lolita is.
And my most recent read:
City of fallen angels.
If you've read this series then I'm pretty sure you'l love this one. I love how they focus more on Simon though it made me want more Alex and Magnus parts. Maybe the next one will have them as more center characters :D

Irish Ad against homophobia!
I found this ad through tumblr and it makes me very proud to be Irish!
What do you think of it? I think its about time more people stood up for their rights and I think this is a great step hopefully towards that.

Innocent World "Gosick Series"
I can't believe that I've never wrote about this yet.
Innocent World has made a collaboration with the anime Gosick to make one of the outfits that the main character is wearing.
What is it about you may ask?
"Gosick takes place in 1924 in a small, French-speaking fictional European country of Sauville. The story centers on Kazuya Kujo, the third son of a Japanese Imperial soldier, who is a transfer student to St. Marguerite Academy, where urban legends and horror stories are all the rage. There he meets Victorica, a mysterious yet beautiful and brilliant girl who never comes to class and spends her days reading the entire content of the library or solving mysteries that even detectives can't solve. The series mostly focuses on Kazuya and Victorica getting involved in different mystery cases and their struggle to solve them, at the same time forming important bonds with different people."

Baby, the Stars Shine Bright "Time of the Roses"
Baby the Stars Shine Bright have released yet another beautiful print called "Time of the Roses".
Seventeen past ten, the sun feels like heaven. For the roses, its warmth is a sensation. Beauty is the dream of every carnation. The flowers all bloom in my garden by day, showing off their colors as if on display. As the day wears on, after the clock strikes noon, the summer months will come to the patient soon. At five to five, the moon will start climbing high, as the glowing sun sets and closes its eye. My roses are asleep, my garden's lonely. The flowers grow weary. They're my one and only. The cold wind blows, and it's a terrible sin. My roses wilt before day begins.
The reservations from San Francisco will begin on the 18th of April. This is a beautiful print and I can imagine it doing well in sweet and classic but with the time theme I'm waiting on a steampunk coord. Below is just something quick I came up with on Polyvore.
